TJF Electric Reviews

What a great job! We were having a lot of work done and I was apprehensive to the whole process. Tyler put us immediately at ease. He's freindly and transparent, encouraging us to to get other quotes and even gave tips to ask. We had a 200 amp service upgraded with a new meter main and grounding rods. New panel, breakers, and transfer switch. Generator hookup, powered up a detached garage, and added a run of outlets. Tyler and Chris did an amazing job. Everything is was perfectly neat. Lines were run straight and orderly. I highly recommend TJF Electric for great work at a fair price.

Looking for an electrician for the sizable job we had was daunting. Tyler, owner of TJF, not only called me immediately, but put me at ease as soon as he started talking. He answered all my questions, offered advice and was completely transparent in his business model. He insisted we get other quotes to be sure his pricing was fair. We did, and TJF's pricing is competitive in the field, coming in slightly lower than the other quotes. We went with him based on his time taken with us before the job to get to know us and our needs, and his assurance of the quality of the work. We had a panel upgrade from 100 to 200. A new meter, outlets put in the basement, a generator switch installed and power to the garage and new grounding rods (a lot!). Tyler and Chris were on time both days, respectful, clean, and most importantly, the job is impeccable! You can tell they pride themselves on neatness and quality. Tyler and Chris of TJF Electric are two young men I wouldn't hesitate to call or text for another booking. I'd give more stars if Google offered.

Just had TJF Electric do a 200 AMP Service upgrade including outside meter. A great job once again - on time, great communication and clean !! We will be using TJF again soon. We have had Tyler out to our home several times for lighting upgrades, electrical work in connection with appliances and estimates for future work. Tyler is very professional, honest, clean, meticulous and always communicates to keep us aware of where things stand. His rates are fair and reasonable and we have never felt taken advantage of in our dealings. We are currently scheduled for a panel upgrade and look forward to the fine job we know he will do.

Called Tyler on a Friday afternoon. He and his crew were out to my house within an hour to diagnose the issue and game plan a solution. Came back with a creative solution to a complicated issue and lighting looks awesome. Price was fair, communication great, and work was phenomenal. Highly recommend this local company for your electrical needs.

We had a great experience with Tyler and Chris and highly recommend them. Tyler was extremely informational, friendly, professional, and honest about the work that needed to be done. He came out within hours of our call to evaluate an outlet issue and was able to schedule the work for the following Monday. The pricing was very reasonable, and both Tyler and Chris were extremely efficient while still taking the time to answer all of our questions. They were nice, professional, and made the whole process easy from start to finish. We really appreciated the honesty, quality of work, and overall experience. We will definitely be using Tyler and TJF Electric for all of our future electrical needs.

I had Tyler come out to add recessed lighting in my bedroom and I must say his attention to detail and professionalism is like no other. He showed up on time and did an excellent job. Very reasonable pricing and clean!

TJF Electric was simply fantastic. Tyler and his team were on time, professional, but also a joy to have around the house for the entire day. It felt like we’d known these guys for a long time which is truly a pleasure when you’re inviting strangers into your home to do work. We want to find more work so they have a reason to come back! We had 6 lights installed on dimmers in the living room, a wonky three way switch in the kitchen fixed, all of our outdoor lights updated and centralized to one remote, a new baseboard heater added to the dining room and a generator plug added to the garage. All of the work looks amazing and like it has always been there. We truly could not be happier to have found TJF Electric. As an added bonus, which is always a tall order, they are VERY reasonably priced. 10/10 would recommend to everyone we know!

Overall a great experience and recommend their services. I reached out to TJF for an issue with a popped circuit breaker that would not turn back on. Tyler was able to squeeze us in relatively quickly and offered some possible explanations over the phone. Chris arrived on schedule and worked professionally and efficiently to assess the situation, identify and resolve our issue. Chris even pointed out something that could have been an issue/fire hazard down the road, offered solutions and addressed it for us during the same visit. Upon mentioning some additional work I’d be looking to do, a quote was provided same day for us to consider.

We recently hired an TJF electrical to address several major electrical issues in our home, and we could not be happier with the experience. From start to finish, Tyler and his team was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely easy to work with. They arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and completed all of the necessary upgrades efficiently and safely. The workmanship was excellent, and they made sure everything was up to code and functioning perfectly before leaving. They also kept the work area clean and treated our home with respect throughout the project. It’s hard to find contractors who are reliable, honest, and communicative, but this company exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work, upgrades, or repairs. Outstanding service and quality work!

Tyler answered my call on a late Saturday afternoon. To have a human interaction is a rarity in these times. The job was scheduled immediately. Chris Tully and Caleb listened to what work I needed to have done, and despite thinking they were at my home for one item, took care of others. All are respectful, great w/ advice and very professional. I highly recommend TJP Electric.

After trying to plug in my new portable A/C unit and tripping half of the outlets in the house, Tyler came out in less than 24 hours to help me out. It was a simple fix and he took the time to walk me through how to deal with it in the future. He also gave me advice for my future electrical needs, as a lot of the wiring in my house is a bit older. I will definitely be reaching out again when I upgrade. Highly recommend!

Tyler and his Team did a great job on both of our electrical projects. They were able to complete the work as scheduled and as we requested. They were very professional and courteous... Truly a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend TJF Electric for all of your electrical needs!
