Ellington’s working farms run barn subpanels feeding stock tank heaters, coolers, and pumps off main services that predate all of it. We audit the whole chain — main panel, feeder sizing, barn subpanel, grounding at both ends — because an undersized feeder is the failure point insurance adjusters find after a barn fire, not before.

The farmhouses around Ellington Center still carry pre-1970 panels and occasional fuse boxes.
