What Somers Customers Hire Us For

Whole-Home Generators

Standby power leads the work mix in Somers — rural Route 190 properties on well-and-septic lose overhead power in storms. Generac/Kohler installs sized to your full load, with transfer switch and gas coordination.

Farmstead Rewiring

Somers tobacco-country farmsteads carry layered, decades-old wiring. We rewire to code — often for insurance renewal — while keeping the work practical for working properties.

Panel & Fuse-Box Upgrades

Old fuse boxes and undersized panels in Somers farmhouses upgraded to a permitted, inspected 200-amp service that carries modern loads.

24/7 Emergency Electrician

Burning smell, dead panel, storm damage — we answer day or night and dispatch to Somers from our nearby Tolland County service area.

What's Specific About Wiring in Somers

A rural Route 190 corridor, tobacco-country farmsteads, and storm exposure shape what we do in Somers.

Route 190 corridor

Somers Center and the Route 190 corridor are the spine of town — the town green, the older center housing, and the farmsteads spreading south into tobacco country. The work here is generator-and-rewire heavy rather than the EV-and-subdivision mix of the suburban towns.

Tobacco-country farmsteads

South Somers is shade-tobacco and farm country. Farmsteads carry layered electrical histories and outbuildings on long runs, and a lot of the rewiring is driven by insurance carrier renewals flagging old wiring on the main house and barns.

Standby generator demand

Rural Somers is wooded and outage-prone, and most homes are on well-and-septic, so an outage means no water. Whole-home Generac and Kohler standby generators are the most-requested job in town — we handle the load calc, gas-line coordination, install, and annual maintenance.

Open local market

Somers has no entrenched in-town electrician dominating the area, so a well-served Somers customer base is genuinely winnable. We treat Somers as a core service town, not an edge of the map.
